Project Overview

I volunteered for the employee engagement committee in my department at work to have the opportunity to exercise my other creative skills and connect with a broader group of people. I supported the communications subcommittee by collaborating on strategy and designing various materials as needed such as event posters and meeting invites. But, my main contribution that first year was designing a monthly newsletter the SVP described as “the only one he reads”.

I volunteered for a second year to continue supporting the monthly newsletter release. My responsibilities grew to photograph department events and implement a stronger brand presence through a suite of standardized materials including event signage, name tags, stickers, and templates for event invite, town hall presentations, and emails.
