I provided ad hoc marketing support to this local soccer academy including a logo redesign, summer camp photography, and additional media.

Logo Redesign

Project Overview

Project 90 is a local soccer academy. As they expanded their services to include a club team, they needed an updated, badged logo for the new team jerseys that communicates their growing business as professional, modern, and attractive to their target audience of 8-10 year old boys.

2 weeks

First, I had an initial intake meeting with the client to understand their needs and collect inspiration on what they were looking for. On my own, I mocked up some low-fidelity potential designs for feedback.

Process

Then, we had a follow up meeting to review the ideas and narrow down to the two directions they liked the best. I moved fast due to time constraints, iterating on the two chose designs to create high fidelity versions, adding color and additional detail.

We had a quick turn around, so the client chose their favorite out of the final four. I delivered all of the final design options in requested file formats. Additionally, I provided a document showcasing the design on their uniform options to simulate how each combination would look.

Overall, the client loved the new logo. It is featured on the new jerseys as well as other team merch, the coach uniforms, marketing materials, and the team tent.
