My clients for this project were the scientists involved in the Seahawk Mission in which the team launched a cube-satellite into space to collect ocean color imagery. The ask was to create an infographic, and then animate the infographic, that clearly explains ocean color imagery. The goal was to display the information in an exhibit of the space mission. So, these complex, scientifically dense topics needed to be distilled and communicated in a simple way that even an elementary schooler could understand them.

The Computer Science Department was seeking new marketing materials to more accurately reflect the new and updated major offerings to prospective students. I created five posters to advertise the changes, highlighting each programs unique aspects in order to guide students to an informed decision on the right path for them. I partnered with another designer to create logos like keys on a keyboard. We chose a bright and academic color palette and I played off of the keyboard theme by incorporating coding symbols as graphic elements in my designs.

The College of Health and Human Services was seeking meditative content to display in the halls of their buildings to provide a calm environment for their stressed STEM students. I created a short breath work meditation for the students to follow along to as they wait for class or take a break from studying. Deep breathing has been proven to calm the body and for science students, I figured incorporating the respiratory system would resonate with their interests. I choose a calm palette of muted colors with peaceful imagery of nature and golden light.

Meditation for CHHS displays. The audio came out too intense, so play on a low volume. Today, I would use a more gentle breath sound.
